Endurance and prototype solutions

Endurance, a discipline built on reliability

Endurance racing is arguably the most demanding discipline in motorsport. For 4, 6, 8, 12 or 24 hours, vehicles run without interruption through daylight, darkness, rain, heat, traffic and relentless mechanical loads. Every component is pushed to its limit: embedded electronics, power supply, data acquisition, engine management, transmission, batteries, sensors and driver interfaces must operate without failure. In endurance racing, performance matters only when it lasts.

This discipline is an exceptional innovation laboratory. FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), IMSA, European Le Mans Series (ELMS) and Asian Le Mans Series bring leading manufacturers together around Hypercar, LMP2, LMP3 and GT machinery. The technologies developed there flow into the wider automotive industry: hybridisation, power electronics, energy management, telemetry, cybersecurity, driver assistance and real-time supervision.

For nearly thirty years, XAP Technology has supported this continuous search for performance and reliability. Born in motorsport, the company designs and manufactures in France embedded electronic systems for the most demanding environments. Digital dashboards, data-acquisition units, control units, human-machine interfaces, intelligent power-distribution systems, power electronics and supervision software equip vehicles across a wide range of competitive disciplines.

The experience gained in endurance extends far beyond motorsport. The availability, robustness and safety requirements developed on the circuit now serve defence, marine, special-vehicle, drone and industrial applications. For XAP, endurance is not merely a competition field: it is a technology accelerator where electronic solutions for tomorrow’s operational challenges are forged.
