From Schematic to Board: Full Control Over Electronics

Electronic circuit design is at the core of our business. Using ALTIUM software, we create detailed schematics to define the placement and interconnection of components. This tool allows us to design the printed circuit board (PCB) and send it directly to our supplier.

During this design phase, we select active components as early as possible, taking into account performance specifications, reliability, cost, and availability. Our prototyping unit can quickly produce and bring the board to life, making it operational for the first validation tests.

Our in-house electronic board production workshop is equipped with two manufacturing lines that ensure high-precision component placement. The production units are organized with business continuity in mind, allowing for highly optimized design and production lead times.

At XAP, our engineers program pick-and-place robots that automatically position components on all types of PCBs: single-sided, double-sided, multilayer, flexible, rigid-flex, high-frequency, or metal-core. The boards are then passed through our reflow ovens.

At the end of the production process, we verify correct component placement using AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) scanners and carry out thorough functional testing.

At XAP, we have been designing and developing partial or complete electrical architectures for many years. We analyze the full electrical system of the vehicle or machine, along with the various subsystems that must communicate with each other, in order to deliver the most suitable solution for your needs.

Our wiring harnesses are custom-designed to ensure perfect integration into embedded electrical systems.
We optimize the management of connections and electrical signals, using high-performance materials that withstand harsh environments (temperature, humidity, vibrations) and advanced protection solutions such as EMI shielding, heat-shrink tubing, and waterproof connectors.

We produce all wiring diagrams in-house, and our cables and harnesses are then manufactured and tested by our teams to ensure optimal quality and performance while maintaining full control over every stage of the project. We also have a dedicated space to store your vehicles and offer partial or complete installation directly on your vehicles or machinery.
