High performance flange mounted rotary sensor designed
for the most demanding control and measurement applications.
The FRP2 rotary sensor is constructed from aluminium alloy
and stainless steel for high strength and durability, yet is lightweight in
design, making it ideal for racing car and automotive applications. It is
sealed as standard and is fitted with fire and chemical resistant, high temperature
Raychem FDR-type55-22 cabling for total system reliability. The sensor body
is designed so that an optional heat shrink boot can be fitted for complete
environmental protection. The FRP2 is available from stock for next day delivery.
The FRP2 is used extensively in motor sport for throttle
and gearbox control, steering angle measurement and in the monitoring systems
of the chassis. Other applications include drive controls, scientific research
and general manufacturing industries. It is designed to convert rotary movement
into a proportional voltage output using a simple 3-wire, low current operating
circuit.
The combination of a hard wearing co-moulded conductive
track and multi-fingered precious metal contact ensures infinite resolution
with a long operational life.
